Santa could really use a glass of wine

So, here we were, minding our own business at a friend's tree-trimming party, when... WHAT? Santa? Right there in Evanston? Sure, he looked a little thin in that coat (are you getting enough to eat, Santa?) and his beard was askew. But the holiday season takes its toll on even the best of us.

Finn's jaw literally dropped when he saw Santa. Santa gave all the children chocolate shaped in the first letter of their names. And I was very proud of Finn, who insisted we bring Cormac over to meet Santa. He was like, "Um, Santa? This is Cormac. He's my brother. He's been a good baby this year, and his name begins with a 'C'. He'll need presents, too." Way to look out for little bro!

Here's Finn (with Santa, who is enjoying a much-deserved glass of red) afterwards. Santa kept reminding me of someone. I know! Our friend, Nic, from Saugatuck!
