Oh my gosh, does Finn ever miss Ruby. Like EVERY day, now that school is done. When I asked him what he missed most about school, he said, "The love of Ruby."
So, you can imagine how extremely thrilled these two were to get to play together yesterday. I mean, it had almost been a week! They went to see Toy Story and then splashed around in the kiddie pool in Ruby's backyard.
Finn was very upset to hear that some boys in his camp think girls are "yucky." He almost started to cry when he told me. He was like, "Mama, how could anyone think girls were yucky?" He's awfully young to lose faith in humanity, so I just told him that his friends may not have had the good fortune to meet girls as sweet as he has.
