family valentine from Finn
The other day, I walked into Finn's class, and on the whiteboard were a bunch of things that the class was saying that they loved. I asked Finn what he contributed, hoping that his wasn't "SpongeBob." He said he volunteered that it was his family, and then made this really sweet Valentine in class. (When you open the heart, you get the message.) We were strongly encouraged not to open until Valentine's Day, unless, "we promised to look and forget about it until then." Awwww...

Cormac's impression of Uncle Mike
Uncle Mike has a crazy beard going right now, which was endless fascination for Cormac during our last visit. Whenever we ask him who Uncle Mike is, he covers his chin with both of his hands, miming a beard. He also makes the funny kissy face shown here, which I just don't understand!

could he seriously be any more of a ham?
One of Cormac's preschool teachers took these photos of him at school on Monday. She told me that as soon as she brought out her camera, he started following her around, saying "cheese!" and posing for, like, five minutes. He knows! He knows how darn cute he is!
This pretty much perfectly captures Cormac's personality.
